NEW YORK (Reuters) – “No Kiss My Dog” rules for puppies and toddlers will soon be mandatory at pet food and dog park concession stand in New York City.
Dog owners are urged to follow the rules, which were put in place in September.
The rules are designed to keep pets safe from stray dogs, and prevent accidental or malicious bites.
They also cover pet food, toys and dog walkers, which are also included in the rules.
Pet food manufacturers and other food companies say they have complied with the rules in the past.
