The name of dog food brand Iams Dog Food is derived from the Irish word for dog, Ies, which means “dog.”
But that isn’t the only reason that the product’s name comes from a dog.
Iams has used its trademark on the brand’s name since the late 1990s.
It is now owned by a separate company, Iams LLC, which has no affiliation with the Iams brand.
That means that, under trademark law, Iamps Dog Food can’t trademark the name of its dog food.
The trademark law does allow for trademark protection for products that are a registered trademark of another company, and that company has to register that name as a trademark in the U.S. If a brand does that, it must also register that trademark as a registered service mark for use on the product.
If the brand then tries to trademark the Iamps name and the trademark owner says no, the trademark will go to the IAMS LLC.
So, for example, Iamas would have to register the name as Iams and Iams trademark.
But because the brand is already registered as Iamms, I have the right to trademark Iams as well.
If I am not able to trademark a trademark, then I am free to create my own brand.
So for example I could create a new brand that used the Iamls trademark and create an entirely new brand.
And if that doesn’t work out, the new Iams can continue to use the Iames name.
