Prescription dog foods are designed to be easy to digest for people who are overweight or obese.
They are also often the cheapest option, and they can contain ingredients such as salt and sugar that can be harmful to pets.
However, some dogs may benefit from a diet of organic dog food that is made from whole grains, which is considered the best option.
“It is important to note that the recommended dietary allowances for a dog depend on the breed and breed mix of the dog,” according to the American Kennel Club.
“The recommendations are for dogs that are of normal weight and weigh no more than 30 pounds (12 kilograms) or more than 3,000 pounds (1,000 kilograms).”
For the overweight dog, the recommended allowance is 30 pounds per pound of body weight.
For dogs with severe obesity, the allowance is 60 pounds per kilogram (3,300 grams).
“A dog should not be given a maximum weight, or a weight that exceeds a dog’s natural weight.”
