When it comes to dog food for the elderly, there are lots of options.
But what if you’re looking for something that will help keep your dog healthy, too?
There are many types of dog foods available that are made from whole and partially digested foods, but not all are vegan or nut-free.
One of the most popular options is dog food from a pet food company.
But how to get your dog to eat those dog foods if you don’t have access to a pet-food manufacturer?
A new study published in the journal Veterinary Record suggests that you can make the best of what you have.
Researchers at the University of British Columbia analyzed the diets of 675 dogs in the United States and Canada, and found that they all had about the same amount of protein, calcium and iron.
What’s more, dogs that were fed all-natural dog foods, such as those made from grass-fed beef and grass-finished meat, had significantly lower levels of total cholesterol and triglycerides than their dog food-fed counterparts.
The study also found that those dogs that had their diets made with animal ingredients also had higher levels of dietary fiber, which may be important for keeping your dog’s bones healthy.
